Meet Somboon and Nong Lek
Two rescued female elephants share 17 acres of open land in Nong Chok, an hour from central Bangkok. They moved here from Krabi and arrived in July 2026. There is no riding here, no chains or hooks, and no performances — they set the pace of their own day, and our visits are built around it. Both are gentle, easy-going animals with hearty appetites, and both are especially fond of their time in the pond — bath time is often the most animated part of their day.
